This indoor plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out almost completely before watering, taking care to not allow your plant to sit in excess water for an extended period.  Provide your Dieffenbachia plant with plenty of bright indirect light for optimal growth.
